The Center is currently launching a sponsorship program to carpet the main prayer areas. The sponsorship is considered Saqaqa Jariya. Each prayer spot costs $150.00 CDN and the area is 2.5 x 3.5 foot. Insha Allah there are only 300 spots available for sponsorship and they are a hot commodity or a commodity to keep you out of the "heat", depending on how you look at it.
The carpet will be laid out in alternating colours as you see in the diagram below. When you sponsor a section you have the choice to have your first name or anonymous displayed on our layout diagram on the website and in the Center.
You can purchase a prayer spot a number of ways:
- cheque or money order
- cash - do not send through the mail
- paypal
If you are sending a donation from outside of Halifax please inform us of what it is for. i.e. the carpet, or a regular donation
This way we can make sure the money is used in the proper place.
